Recently I suffered from what could easily be called the worst headache of my life. I have been no stranger to migraines for most of my adult life but this was definitely different in many aspects and no matter what I did I could not escape the relentless pain. July of 2010 I was in a motor-vehicle accident involving myself and truck. When I say myself and a truck, I mean a Ford F-350 striking me while walking threw a crosswalk. As you can imagine I was in a great deal of pain after this event. My spine was shifted out of alignment, I had nerve pain/damage starting in my back and shooting down to my fingers causing me to lose strength in my arms, and muscle spasms so bad in my neck, back, and shoulder area I could hardly even move my neck from side to side or even raise my left arm over my head. I first met Kristin in February 2011 and fell in love with acupuncture instantly. After just one appointment I could already feel the nerve pain relief and was able to sleep more throughout the night. It’s almost been a year since I started my treatment and I can honestly say I’m almost back to 100%! I virtually have no nerve pain, the muscle spasms have mellowed allowing my range of motion back in my neck and shoulder joints, and I am rarely waking up at night due to my uncomfortable back pain and stiffnes.
